題跋: 半千師北苑獨出幽異用墨濃重有沉雄深厚之氣 □邨圖小幅久歸余齋丙戍寒食信筆撫之 作齋居士張祥凝
Translation: Banqian learned from Beiyuan, establishing a dim and special style. His use of ink was dense and heavy with deep and rich spirits. Small picture of a village...long time returning to my studio. [I] emulated it with freely in the Cold Food Festival of bingshu (1946) Zuozhai jushi Zhang Xiangning

裝裱題字: 清龔賢崑山人字半千號野遺又號柴丈人善山水為金陵派八家之一
Translation: Qing-dynasty Gong Xian, a native of Kunshan, zi Banqian, sobriquet Yeyi, also sobriquet as Chaizhangren, skilled in landscapes and was one of the eight masters of the Jinling School.
